Slade Photographs

Bilston 14th December 2005- Slade returned to their spiritual roots at The Robin in Bilston. The highlight of the concert was, of course, the rendition of Merry Christmas. Don Powell was hidden behind the drum-kit and had no bright lights on him, and was out of range of my flash, so unfortunately I could not get any good pictures of him. One lucky member of the audience went home with his signed drum-skin.
IDon and Dave but they left soon after the concert finished - Dave met some friends locally. I left The Robin and bought fish and chips from the local take-away. I passed the stage-door of The Robin as I returned to my car just as Mal and John were getting into the band mini-bus - Mal helped himself to a few chips, John declined my offer of chips, claiming to be on a diet, although he was carrying a pint of beer at the time!
